Dear CatholiCity Citizen,
White smoke has risen, church bells are ringing and Mr. and Mrs. Ratzinger's little boy, Joseph, is our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI. The Holy Spirit has chosen.

For now, let us pray together for our Almighty Father to bring His will to the world through our new pope, and for his spiritual protection during these exciting and precarious times, and do so in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit...
