The CatholiCity Message

Volume XXI, Number 6 – August 3, 2017

Submit Your Prayers

Dear CatholiCity Citizen,

By submitting your prayers intentions online right now, you can join me "in spirit" next Thursday and Friday when I hand-deliver a printout of your intentions to the majestic Oratory of Saint Joseph in Montreal and the mystical Basilica of Saint Anne de Beaupre near Quebec City—just like I did at the Tomb of Saint Peter in Rome last summer and Fatima Portugal on Palm Sunday 2015.

Ask for Miracles!
Numerous miracles have occurred through these supernaturally potent CatholiCity pilgrimages: mental and emotional healings, conversions, reversions, cancers cured, jobs found, addictions abandoned—so boldly ask Joseph and Anne for miracles with childlike confidence, my friend. Our generous Father in heaven, through Jesus' grandmother and earthly father, wants to give you everything you need, great and small.

My Witness: Two Amazing Prayers Answered
That is what I do: I ask for everything on these pilgrimages—for you and for the people I love most, and I have to witness to you: two of my own most personal, most longstanding petitions were answered after Fatima and Rome—intentions I had been imploring (begging) God to grant for many, many years. These two big petitions granted do not even include my being freed from the slavery to nicotine, which was also granted within a month of returning from Rome.

But Wait, There's More: Holy Eucharist More!
This year a newly ordained Fr. John O'Brien, SJ (editor of my novels), and native representative of Canada, is joining me and will offer Mass for your intentions! Nothing is more powerful than the Eucharist, so Jesus will be with us in this perfect sacramental way next Thursday and Friday.

If you can, wherever you are, please join me spiritually by attending Mass and praying a Rosary. Thank you.

I Will Pray for You With All My Heart
I will pray for you and your petitions while I am in both shrines with all my heart, with everything I am as a consecrated son of Immaculate Mary, and with the beautiful faith given to me as a little boy—a gift that has humbly extended through Our Lady to you personally (you're reading this, after all!) and to millions of people via my novels, the Mary Foundation, and CatholiCity.

I am also making this pilgrimage to pray for every person who will be influenced by the release in just three short weeks of the Top Secret Conversion Book I have been telling you about. I am completely convinced that this powerful new tool for evangelization will quickly become, with your help, the most effective cause of conversions and reversions of our time. Ever. Grace, grace, grace, brothers and sisters.

You will play the absolutely crucial role of being the first Catholics to bring this book into the world.

Joseph, Mary, and Anne: Canada and the U.S.
I must share with you how I first went to the Oratory of Saint Joseph atop Mount Royale fifteen years ago and my life has never been the same because of Saint Joseph himself. He is my father and I am his adopted son. He will hear my prayers for you. I am bringing my first class relic of Saint Joseph and my relic of the True Cross with me and I will be touching both to all of your petitions.

As for the Saint Anne Basilica in Quebec City, I made a special pilgrimage there on her Feast Day during the darkest, most painful days of suffering in my life and the mother of Mary delivered me from evil. On that amazing day, my shoulders ached after I was given the honor of carrying her heavy statue (along with three local dudes) around and around the basilica after Mass for almost an hour while pilgrims sang beautiful French and Latin hymns. Saint Anne and I have become very, very close in the years that followed and she will help you, I promise you she will. I talk to her every day at Mass when I receive Communion and pray for you.

I have to add: told by doctors they would never have children, the parents of one my closest friends (and his sister) was conceived after his parents made a pilgrimage there. Saint Anne is very much interested in helping you finding a spouse and in helping you have children.

There's Even More: Poor Clare More!
August 10 is the Feast of Saint Lawrence, and Montreal and Quebec City are on the Saint Lawrence River. August 11 is the Feast of Saint Clare, best friend of Saint Francis and founder of the Poor Clare contemplative order. I am personally writing a letter this week to every Poor Clare monastery in the United States (nearly 30 total) and adding a financial gift while begging these beautiful nuns to join our pilgrimage spiritually and to pray for your intentions on their own favorite foundress feast day (say that ten times fast!)!

Tell Your Friends
I warmly invite you to tell your friends about this supernaturally potent, completely free, grace-loaded endeavor. Please send this special CatholiCity Message to everyone in your email contacts.

Let Us Pray to Saint John Vianney
To conclude, on the eve of the Feast of Saint John Vianney, tens of thousands of us together, let us begin in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit...

Dear Saint John Vianney, Patron Saint of Parish Priests, demons attacked you constantly because you fasted and prayed for the conversion and holiness of souls of everyone who went to Confession to you. Please be my friend. Honor me by becoming a silent, daily presence in my life. Please ask Jesus to give me and every CatholiCity Citizen on this very day the grace to follow our vocations and to foster the vocations of our brothers and sisters, our children, our nieces and nephews, our Godchildren, grandchildren, and great grandchildren through our virtuous examples, fasting, reparation, daily prayer, frequent reception of Holy Communion and periodic recourse to the Sacrament of Reconciliation. I promise to stop being so lazy and selfish. Thank you. Amen.

Thank you for being a part of our work. And do not forget to submit your petitions and to spread this email all over the web. And please, offer a prayer for me and my family. You guys are the best!

With Saints Anne, Mary, and Joseph,

Bud Macfarlane
