The CatholiCity Message

Volume II, Number 10 – March 12, 1998

Dear CatholiCity Citizen,

Lots of stuff this week. We'll keep it fast and furious, plus an intriguing quote and some Bible humor at the end...

1. "WELL KIDS, YOUR MOM & ME MET ONLINE."
Just last week, we were told that a couple who met through CatholiCity are engaged to be married!

2. THE END IS NEAR
We worked out a technical solution to the problem some of you have getting multiple copies of this CatholiCity Message. We'll keep you posted.

3. SEARCH AND YOU SHALL FIND
Our brand-spanking-new-state-of-the-art CatholiCity Search program is now online. It's better, faster, easier, and has more options. Try to "stump" it. It's on bottom of the menu bar on our homepage.

4. PRAY WITH US
Mark your calendars: our annual Spring International 54 Day Rosary Novena begins March 19th and ends May 11th. It's very powerful. Add these intentions to your daily Rosary (or take this chance to get into the habit of a daily Rosary): The needs of all CatholiCity Citizens, that CatholiCity would get the money it needs to stay online.

INTRIGUING QUOTE
"The mind of man is more intuitive than logical, and comprehends more than it can coordinate."

5. JUST TRY NOT TO LAUGH
The following are actual comments from little kids about Bible stories:

"Noah's wife was called Joan of Ark."
"Sampson slated the Philistines with the axe of the apostles."
"The Fifth Commandment is humor thy mother and father."
"The epistles were the wives of the apostles."
"Solomon had 300 wives and 700 porcupines."
"David was the Hebrew king skilled at playing the liar."
"Saint Paul preached holy acrimony, which is another name for marriage."

Have a great week. We remain...

Yours in Christ,

Your Friends at CatholiCity
